LCTG directors Paul & Angie Lowe present a “January change of pace” ---4 performances of comic one-act shows, plus an evening of Magic and Music. Eight different one-act comedies will be presented for 2 performances each, each with a Friday night & a Sunday matinee show. See **** below! Friday, January 15, LCTG presents “Crazy and a Half”, an evening of 4 one-acts, including 2 comic looks at psychiatrists, a Mafia-style “hit” (that goes wrong), and a toy shop love story, all featuring LCTG favorites, plus a few newcomers. “Crazy” also performs Sunday, January 31. Regular prices are Adults $30, Seniors $27, and $25 for kids to age 12. Sunday, January 17, LCTG goes “Off the Deep End”, presenting 4 different one-acts, including 9 holes of golf, a touching little wedding story (with a twist), a frustrating phone call to information, and a “bank job”. “Deep End” also performs Friday, January 29, again at regular prices. “Crazy” and “Deep End” offer the full family-style dinner 90 minutes before the show. Friday dinner 6:30, with 8 pm show. Sunday dinner 12:30, show at 2 pm. *Special tix package # 1 offers the 2 evenings of one-acts for $55 for adults, $47 for seniors, kids $40, a savings of $5, $7, and $10 respectively over regular prices. ****In another “change of pace”, LCTG presents a shared evening of “The Magic and the Music”. Saturday, Jan 23 magician Ran Baker does up close and personal sleight of hand tricks during dinner at the tables, then performs his floor show. Fun music follows with Brokendown, a local rock & roll band. You’re encouraged to sing along and dance all night. The fun starts at 6 pm for the buffet, the magic at 7, with the music at 8:15. Cash bar available. Only $17 for adults & seniors, $15 kids to age 12. Audience participation and family fun! Grandparents, bring your “kids & grandkids!” LCTG in its 44th year is starting its 6th year at Great Oaks, 13109 Wicker Ave in Cedar Lake.
 After 38 years as the Lake Central Theatre Guild (LCTG) , Paul and Angie Lowe have established a new LCTG, namely L’arc en Ciel Theatre Group, a not-for-profit 501c3 status community theatre, now in our 42nd year! Having directed more than 300 plays and musicals, we bring our shows to the Great Oaks After 4 Club, where we present the Region’s only full-time dinner theatre, featuring all-you-can-eat FAMILY STYLE dinners with cash bar (during dinner and intermission). Normal bill of fare includes Tom’s famous fried chicken, roast sirloin of beef, mostaccioli with Italian sausage, together with salad, mashed potatoes’n gravy, vegetable, rolls, butter, & dessert. Eat upstairs in the banquet hall, then see the show in what used to be the swimming pool! Friday dinner at 6:30 with show at 8 pm. Sunday dinner at 12:30 with show at 2 pm. Tickets are still only $27.50 for adults, $25 for seniors, $22.50 up to age 16. Starting in 2008, we may also be offering Wednesday and Thursday evening shows with the dinners available, but not necessarily required. Tix price will then vary accordingly. Call for info. 365.3197 only please. Wednesday dinners include popcorn and/or fantail shrimp dinners, or the all-you-can-eat fried chicken and/or whitefish dinners. Starting in 2008 on Thursdays, Tom will be offering spaghetti dinners. Cash bar again available. LCTG presents a variety of plays and musicals, with open auditions for NIETF shows. Some shows are pre-cast and not NIETF-viewable as they often go “on the road” for paid performances. Directors Paul and Angie Lowe want to work with as many new and different people as possible, as well as our original members, to present as many new and different shows as possible, not forgetting the classics, the standards, and our favorites.
