Portage Community
Theatre is dedicated to providing Portage-area residents
with an opportunity to embrace and actively engage in all
facets of community theatre. We strive to produce
theatrical projects, educational endeavors, and
collaborative efforts that enhance cultural awareness and
quality of life. We nurture those with unique talents and
abilities, and aspire to inject our passion into every cast
member, every audience member, and every individual who has
been touched by the performing arts.

• Please prepare a song that can showcase your vocal abilities.
• There will be a CD player provided and an accompanist.
• If using an accompanist please let them know where you would like to
start in the song. No transposing is allowed.
• A dance from the show may be taught and performed in front of the
director in groups.
• There are non-dancing or non-singing roles available if you do not
feel strong in your dancing or singing abilities, but all hopefuls
must sing for the director.
• You may be asked to read from the script for a particular character.

2 Teen Girls; 1 Woman; 3 Teen Boys; 1 Man

Large singing-dancing ensemble of 20+ with numerous small roles
