Tony- and Pulitzer-Prize winning play, "Proof" by David Auburn, is coming to the stage at Crown Point Community Theater this April.

SYNOPSIS:
The story of "Proof" follows the life of Catherine, a young woman who is coming to grips with too much, too fast: the death of Robert, her formerly-math-genius now-mentally-debilitated father with whom she spent the past five years of her life as a live-in caregiver; Hal, an endearing, young protege of Robert's who is searching for anything revolutionary Robert may have written during a lucid moment in his last years of life; Claire, Catherine's sister who comes in for the funeral with an agenda of her own; and, on top of all of this, a cryptic, mathematical proof is discovered whose authorship and ultimate impact remain completely shrouded in mystery....
