![]() BOX OFFICE: (219) 879-7509 EVITA , a musical August 13-29th, 2010 Directed by: Scot MacDonald Choreography by: Larry Payne Musical Director: TBD Evita is the story of Eva, a poor Argentine girl who grows up to be the wife of the president of Argentina and worshipped by her people. As a young girl, Eva quickly learns that the way to achieve the power she desires is by sleeping with powerful men. In order to make it to Buenos Aires, Evita sleeps with the tango singer, Agustin Magaldi. After she is through with him, she seduces the rising political figure, Juan Peron. Peron eventually becomes the President of Argentina while Eva becomes a hero to the poor and working class. In the end, to the sadness of Argentina's people, Eva dies young.
