Off The Map a play

“Off the Map” tells the story of a family who live “off the grid” in the desert – no electricity, no running water-- who are totally self-sufficient, raising their daughter to respect the land and all its bounty. When their world is visited by an agent of the government, all the boundaries are broken.

This play will be staged in an innovative way: as a live “teleplay.” The audience will be seated in the YJean Chambers Hall, while the actors are working on the stage of Alumni Hall. The play will be presented via a live video feed in 12 acts with a short intermission.
